Discovering the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich in Chicago: A Kasama Breakfast Sandwich Review

What's up, cheeseheads? It's Sean and Corey from Number Six With Cheese, and today we're on a mission to find the best sandwich in all of Chicago. And spoiler alert, we found it at Kasama.

Kasama is a Filipino-American restaurant in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood of Chicago, and they're serving up some seriously delicious food. But today, we're here to try Sean's all-time favorite sandwich – the Longanisa Sausage breakfast sandwich.

Kasama breakfast sandwich full review!

This sandwich is a thing of beauty. It starts with a fluffy, perfect bun. Then comes the star of the show – the Longanisa sausage. This sausage is made in-house at Kasama, and it's a Filipino-style sausage that's slightly sweet and tangy. It's cooked to perfection and has the perfect amount of snap.

But that's not all – the sandwich is also topped with a fried egg, and if you’re doing things right, you add the hasbrown. The combination of flavors and textures is out of this world. The egg adds creaminess and sausage adds the flavor and the hashbrown adds the crunch to balance it all out.

It's no wonder this sandwich is Sean's favorite in the entire city. Every bite is pure bliss, and we're already planning our next trip back to Kasama to have it again.

If you're in Chicago and looking for a new sandwich spot to try, do yourself a favor and head to Kasama. And when you do, make sure you order the Breakfast Sandwich. You won't regret it.
